if BTS is working hard to gain popularity, unfollowing a person who supports a political figure that almost everyone despises (at least in America where they're trying to expand their career anyway) seems like the smartest thing to do.
Other celebs too have a fanbase to worry about. Would you seriously keep stanning someone who supports a man like Trump?

We all know Kanye West is a huge MK ultra illuminati puppet, and so is trump, recently Kanye posted a tweet showing his support of trump and BTS went on to unfollow Kanye immediately after the post not to mention they removed all his songs from Spotify. Any one find this suspicious or I am I overthinking this
What’s your take on it?
my take on it is that Bighit knows very well what is BTS audience and what they expect from them. I doubt Trump supporters are BTS fans so an artist like Kanye supporting Trump won't be a good influence on them right?

but i will wait to see if BTS members talk about Kanye again. I remember yoongi saying he is a fan of Eminem and Jimin saying he is a fan of chris Brown (both of those artist are considered problematic and to me on the same level as Kanye West)

I’m sorry for posting so much lol I’m just happy to have found a forum like this because I’ve always been suspicious of BTS and their true intentions

But I’m curious. Does anyone remember a few years ago back in 2013/14 when Jimin wore a shirt during his dance practice with the title “Satan 13”

Yea, probably they are trying to milk it till the hype is high.
But many people are disliking their BBmas comeback decisions, only few spoke out and they have been mobbed as usual on twitter (most people keep their opinions to themself ).
BTW i've read the prices are very high.
Personally i think the fandom is quite insane, i've read some times ago a "I only work to give my money to BTS" , i think they have been all zombified.
One thing is to like their music another is becoming like that.
Wich reminds me the guys with black hood that nods at the start of the Mic Drop video...they look zombified....like true Armie that cannot see no wrong.
From what I've seen, the only people who seem to dislike their comeback at the BBMA's are those who aren't loyal ARMYs, as in, multi-fandom. Now before anyone might take offence, I'm not generalizing all and saying you aren't loyal if you stan another group(s) but the majority who seem to be having issues seem to be from that demographic. It's been pointed out by even the K-ARMYs where most of them are supportive and are anticipating this comeback even though it won't be in Korea.

I'm sure the prices will be high, they were already expensive this last time. But as with everything, when the demand is high, the price is high. I agree that it's not healthy to have that mentality of only working to support BTS. You need to take care of yourself first.

Many other celebs take on the trend of hating trump.. and it seems to be a popular thing so I'm not surprised bts is jumping on that bandwagon even if they do secretly like trump (I doubt it though)

If you honestly ask me I think the bts members might be trapped in this group
because they have this illusion going on thinking they'll be together forever, their popularity is rising and from the looks of it most of the members have some form of a mental disorder.. most commonly depression
it doesn't help at all considering most of their songs have hidden affirmations under the music to make the group members and ARMY have certain beliefs.. especially the fact that most ARMYs seem to be in debt after spending so much from how high the prices are for this group (This might have a correlation with the hidden messages to make u buy stuff)

The members probably don't wanna be in this group, but they're probably forced to because if you look at bighit its a rather small entertainment industry, so if they were to break up I doubt bighit would allow that since their industry is so small

It really breaks my heart

Thanks for the welcome, guys :)

BTS have announced a world tour and they are coming to Europe from Billboard to a world tour they’re really going higher aren’t they
Yes, at this rate, we shall not be surprised that they will hit No.1 Billboard 200 next month.

Not sure if u guys have watched Shane Dawson's conspiracy theories but I watched one where he was finding out about fake twitter followers of famous celebrities. I tried to do that on b.t.s and apparently about 40% of their twitter followers are fake... And apparently one could buy followers and likes on twitter. This made me wonder how truly famous they really are

But their upcoming concerts will still be sold out

I think almost all popular accounts have fake followers to a degree. But even if their popularity is exagerated by the media, we can't deny they are the most relevant kpop act right now. The place they will be performing in Korea is huge too I wonder if they can sell it out

and looks like Bighit has plans to debut a new group at the end of this year:

they are also planning on going public wich means people can invest in the company and debuting a new group could be related to that
BTS has maybe 2 more years active before one of them has to go to the army? after that the company will need another group to help them be established

Possibly. I would think they would've bought followers way before their popularity took off to try to hype their group and bring more attention though. Their concerts last year in the US sold out incredibly fast. I was waiting down to the second when the site froze and I didn't get a ticket for day 1. I managed one the next day after almost refreshing a blank page for 15 minutes before landing a decent seat.

This time around I think it will be even worse especially with the scalpers since they were horrendous last time already. The venues were filled though so their popularity even then was no joke compared to now and what's coming after the BBMAs.

Bang PD foretold about their success a couple years ago during the Fire era and just before the BST era where their popularity took off not only in Korea but internationally. Coincidentally he apparently said that 3 years from then, they would be the biggest group in the world.

After the BBMAs debut soon (exactly 2 years since his letter too), I can only imagine how much more recognition and popularity they will receive from the world. So by next year, his prediction could very well be true at this rate.

Yes, Army is probably one of the biggest and most insane fandoms right now. Sure there are a few of nice Armys that I have befriended with but some are just major asses. I have seen countless of stupid and borderline bullying comments (i.e. "I stan expensive men" and those recordbreaking stats to bring older idols down) on YT and Twitter (at the time I was a big fan of BTS - no, I don't associate myself with any of Kpop fandoms). They also don't seem to realize how 'superficial' the boys are. And as most of u have pointed out on Hitman Bang, he's the epitome of an evil genius mastermind. I have never seen a Korean producer this ambitious... and controlling. He is basically controlling the boys' minds and lives.

Yeah, I plan to go to the concert at the 02 arena in really care how much it will cost to tbh I just want to see them live at least once.
Pls go ahead and see them live. That was my sentiment when I was completely dumbfounded by Boy Meets Evil MAMA 2016 live stage. I was so impressed by the song and dancing that I shocked my sis that I must watch it live, no matter what. It was so strange because I was never a fan of BTS before that... We got tickets for Wings concert, was excited, then when it was over, personally it felt 'empty' to me. Not quite sure how to explain....

The "not real army" argument always left me speechless....basically, in this BTS fandom, you are a REAL ARMY only if you:
Listen only BTS 24h
Give all your money to them
Spam twitters 24h(with 10 different accounts)
watch their video 24
Only think of BTS 24h
If you don't do all this apparently you're not a real fan so your opinion on the matter doesn't count(and you deserve to get mobbed till deactivaction)
I think ARMY should change their name in ZOMBIES because that's what they are.
There are people that disliked the BBmas comeback and still like BTS, to downgrade their opinion because they also listen to Mosta X is TYPICAL illuminati attitude...
Actually i think i'm starting to get it....BTS fanbase is the way governaments probably would love us all, with one thought and no personal opinions.
Also, real Army must love all 7 of them. No solo stans.

Love yourself program is no other than an alternate 1984-like world :confused:

EDIT about the Kanye thing
Apparently all the celebrity re-followed Kanye, BTS included(unclear what happened or WHAT is happening).
Maybe they faced a backlash (i found many people desappointed they were taking position in it-because they can't be against that political view but unfollowing something because of it is opposite to what they preached)?
Kanye on the other hand increased his followers.
Wow I’m very disappointed to see them jump into the bandwagon so quickly, I mean I know unfollowing Kanye might jeopardize their image but it’s disappointing to see how they act kinda like sheep, blindlessly following the crowd

Lol the ARMYs who do all the things you mentioned are usually children. The rest are adults who have lives and responsibilities so they don't have time to participate in steady streaming and voting religiously, etc.

All obsessed stans in ALL fandoms are zombies, that's not only exclusive to BTS'. I've seen others do and say even crazier things in relation to their idols from all sides of the industries. All fanbases contribute to what the government wants, period.

Side note, I'm pretty sure the Kanye thing was a rumour. They never unfollowed him to my knowledge.

They did unfollow him because this morning when i checked they weren't following him.
When i checked again two hours later they were following him.
And Suga removed Kanye songs from his list or whatever.

No, it's not only children that think that way, you too lowkey told me that ARMY want BTS going to BBMAs and the one that aren't 100% convinced by this are not real army but multy-stan (like they lack the certified ARMY conformity to be real fans).
Personally i still consider them fans and their opinion count, only because they aren't obsessed doesn't make them less legit.
Where are you seeing all this? The Kanye unfollowing happened yesterday unless for some odd reason it's apparently happening again today.

I never said that. It was an observation made by many and I never said all multi-stans are unhappy. And majority are happy with the BBMAs since it was an actual goal of BTS' and supportive fans know that.

I agree. Not all Armys are kids. They are mothers and working adults who still religiously vote and stream even while at work... If i'm not mistaken, BTS has rather big adult followers at around their 30s and even 40s.

I think the Kanye thing was a glitch.
a lot of people were making fun of him because he lost a lot of followers but now his account is back to normal and all the celebrities are following him again at the same time? nah

Not sure about Yoongi's spotify playilist, fans are saying he deleted all his songs but I remember not long ago all of them changed their playlist

I agree, a lot of the fans are older. I discover a lot of the most obsessed shippers are in their 30s and most of them use their university diplomas (in psychology) to prove their ship is real lol

All kpop fans have this sheep mentality but it's true that with BTS fans get very upset when someone says something negative about the group or the company
They believe BTS are the saviours of music. But even if I like them I don't think they are so different from the rest, when I watch their interviews most of them are the typical idols giving typical idol answers and only two members sound confident when giving their opinion

Like you said their CEO is a master manipulator not only with BTS but also with the fans, he knows exactly what he is doing

I just found this:

remember RM jacket talking about human control system? seems like the comeback will be about a controversial sociopolitical topic and I wonder if them debuting the song in america has a bigger purposse

A lot of important events are happening right now, an historical handshake happened just today:

Kim Jong-un and Moon Jae-in in historic handshake

SEOUL,
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and the South's President Moon Jae-in shook hands Friday over the Military Demarcation Line that divides their countries in a gesture laden with symbolism ahead of a historic summit.

of course all this could be another coincidence and maybe the handshake is not staged or part of an agenda (lol) but it really looks like BTS comeback will be about a political theme this time considering the clues the fans are getting
