First i will do an introduction of Ir0n in the spoiler for those who don't know who he is and what is his past and current life. Really important for the understanding of his song 'system"

Iron was born on 8th January of 1996 (26years old). He was born in a very poor familly, he used to steal a lots of materials from the others kids from his school and foods from supermarket because he really did not had money.
Due to his very complicated financial situation, he was a troublemarkers and had a lots of anger issue against rich people (remember well this info in order to understand better "system"). His mind was so bad that one day when he was in school he stabbed one of his friend (yes a friend lol) because the kid said one bad thing.. they became friends few years after the accident..
In high school or after (idk) he became the second member of BT$ with RM, few weeks/years after other rappers joined. As we all know bigshit changed their plan (from rap crew to boys band) so he decided to left bt$ because he hate the idol life (duh lol).
In 2014 he participed to Show me the money season 3, in wich he end up second (bobby from ikon won it, obviously from the fact that he's from yg ent smh...). He then after smtm had a pretty good fan base, and sell pretty well... BUT the controversy started..

So as i said in the spoiler, the controversies started, the first one was him and 10 others idols/artist getting caught for drugs (marijuana) possesion BUT somehow, all types of korean medias from serious one to your infamous dispatch only decided to expose the name of Ir0n and let the 9 others in peace.. wich bothered ir0n a lots for some obvious reasons.
He did some months in prison for drugs. (the nine others did not)

In 2016, for his comeback he drops his singles "System". Two analysis are needed : the music video and the lyrics. Because both are differents but says a lots.
(each analysis in each spoilers)
MV analys :

Spoiler: Music Vid' analysis

The music video is more a critic of the society (= me, you, us) compared to the lyrics that are a critic of the system (= industry)
So basically in the story of the MV, we have one person xho is a middle-age man, farmer (lowest social class, consider by a lots like dirts) and ugly by the standards of our society.
The farmer is in a bad/destructed farm with chickens (the chickens might represent us).
Now look how the farmer is about to kill the chicken on the table but at 2:47 he stock him in a delicated way as he tell him to not worry but ends up cut his head.
After this scene at 3:11, we see the farmer cutting his hair and hairs, etc... basicly the farmer is doing what we call a glow-up (= transformation from ugly to handsome), he have "better" chlothe too. So the farmer procced to become what our society standards considers handsome. We can now see him in a better place (table), he drinks wine, have a pretty table (= reference to the richness of someone compare to the destructed farm)
Sooo the MV is basically a critics of how we/society persive people just based on their social class/work and overall apparence.

Now the lyrics analysis (about bigshit...)

As i said before, the lyrics are about the system (industry) so here we go :
- I spent that one year as if I was dead, Pushing myself into a corner of the room, Shouting silent screams under the blanket, Suddenly, I was facing the mirror = reference to his times in prison.
- Was it because of the sudden popularity or had this path not been mine from the beginning? Was that [already] enough for me? I can’t blend in [...] = he talks about his struggles about going from being a nobody to a very famous person in a short amount of times. Realising the all the expectation from the public as well.
- Behind business masked as loyalty, there’s a mistress that lives off it. The kind gazes of the snakes that hope for my downfall = Here he talks about how the producers, ceo and exectutives loves to say to their employees that they are a familly that will always have their backs if somethings bad happen to him, but all of this is just an illusions that the companies gives to their artists in order to sign them under their company (=business masked as loyalty). He also talk about those so called friends and others artists that pretends to support him as an artist but in secret hope for his downfall (= snake)
- In this scene, the tail wags the dog. Like prostitutes, singers line up in front of producers. Smiling all over, they serve their next source of income = Here's come the infamous line about bigshit that everybody ignores on youtube..
Ir0n is saying that artists are like prostitutes to prod', ceo and exectutive because they are sellings their soul/body to them by smiling and giving sexual services just for money.
Now what's shady about this is that ir0n ins't talking about this subjet in general but instead, all his talking about in this song is HIS EXPERIENCE, and where was he when he saw this happening?? yes bigshit. So he's talking about bt$ here.
- The damned fucking copyright law has long before killed singers’ rights. The vicious cycle that has firmly stabilized itself is repeated by this system’s slaves = talking about how producers are basically being slave to companies because in one song the company takes 80%, the producers 10% and artists usally takes 5% of the money. (5% others for the promo, disk agence...).
- Yeah, that’s right. One’s true nature never changes. Imitating a wallflower hasn’t suited me from the start. I am not going to obediently become this country’s prey = he talks about how he assume and do not regret his past acts (drugs, stabbing people...), admitting how being a role model (wallflower=idol=puppet) is not for him and is not going to and will continue to do drugs (he made a song dedicated to drugs after btw lol). and country's prey = secret agenda ?
- You thought I’d be shaking in fear, right? If you saw me as a pawn, accept it, it’s my turn now. Ya’ll see this is fuckin’ rapper = talks to the elites. He is proud of the fact that he is a real rapper and not some mumble/idol rappers like chanyeol that have ghostwritter and will never talk about things that will bothered them.. remember guys that rap was created in the first place to speak against the gouvernment, that's why we see a lots of politiciens talking trash of rap, wich could aslo explain why he as a rapper was the only one exposed out the 10 persons.
- Reporters and police are bribed. Lists are drawn-up, their political affairs. At the right timing, bombs explode. Schemes hidden behind the curtain of the press = talk about corruptions, the fact that the elite controls the police and media. the fact that sometime the media expose something controversial to hide another bigger controversy (ex : the jyp occult/samsung situation)
-The public is swept away by scandals. Obscurantism covers your eyes. Praise Park Chung-hee, Kim Dae-jung. You yourself don’t even know that you’ve been brainwashed = #Savage god bless him lmao

So in other term for those who don't get it about gd, he is saying how it's unfair how some get away with the freakings laws and scandal thanks to the corrupt power of companies like yg, sm, jyp, bigshit... but here you have normal person who get shitted one (and btw he is not complaining about his destiny since he said in the song and interview that he knows he is against the law and unlike some he admit it and pay for it.. some should takes exemple on him). And he did choose gd, top in particular because both had the same scandal but one got away from it because of yg and their delusional fans

so that's it, it's really sad that people on twitter and youtube only focus on the gd diss and call him an attention seeker when he tells the truth about litterally everythings and way more than just gd but bigshit, illuminati, medias, corruptions etc...
Now it's just sad to see where he is now because of this, because for me he is one of the best korean rapper out there (better than rm).

But I was kinda expecting it to happen since their songs dropped on the charts?
Kinda weird though that they released a song after Jin left so the sacrifice might've been for the next song coming out and later albums
