So, quoting a verse from the Bible is spiritually perverting it? Aren't you reaching there just a little bit Tidal?1- They had to get Lot sozzled on wine first, and as we all know, booze makes people temporarily wacko..
2- As he got older, poor old Solomon ended up like poor old doddery Biden.
3- The King James Bible (KJV) has ruled the roost for 400 years, it's absolutely fearless unlike more modern watered-down pol-correct versions, so stick with the KJV.
In fact the Bible prophesies that "spiritual perverts" will try to twist it, so no surprise there-
"If anyone preaches a perverted gospel they're accursed" (Gal 1:6-9)
"Ignorant people distort things, to their own destruction" (2 Pet 3:16/17)
"For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear" (2 Tim 4:3)
Another thing- they don't seem to try twisting the Koran and other religious texts, perhaps that's because they know Christianity is the only religion that matters, hence all their fury is turned on it alone..
I know KJV is your book but what about the other 2 billion Christians? Surely someone is reading those other 2000 versions of the Bible.
Forever amazed how you attempt to defend 45,000 sects with 2304 versions of the Bible guiding them. Really, its silly for me to speak on it, the religion has dealt itself multiple mortal blows over the years.
They say the average person knows 100 people. Take the 100 people you know Tidal. Multiple them by 450.
While they all claim to follow your religion, not a single one of them believes exactly as you do.
See if you can mentally picture that. 45,000 different beliefs under 1 religion.
We both know they attack the Quran endlessly. The difference is the Quran is not a bucket with 2000 holes trying to hold water.
Peace Tidal.
