Sk is actually kinda dying as a whole country along with Japan because of toxic work culture, detoriaration of morals and lack of babies. Fewer young people to replace those dying. But i do think the kpop industry is celebrating right now, thinking of the opprtunity to make the next it band. If the cycle repeats it will not be from the same compnay. Yeah I heard now as of this yr, SK has the lowest birth rate in the world, under one baby per woman. And like you said Japan is not far behind. There was an article posted on here a while back about how a growing number of elderly SK women are prostitutes in parks. The elderly helped bring that country up and spent their money on making sure their kids were well educated in such a competitive environment..and now they are forgotten about yet make up most of SK's population.
