Another story that is hard to imagine being released last year.
Of course only health professionals would be able to make firm conclusions, but it would be interesting to know how much was due to pre-existing mental illness and how much due to artificial male hormones.

I also wonder how much young women are simply running away from being expected to be porn stars in the bedroom. If they decided to be trans, that would be an easy way out of being pressured to do what is repulsive/ frightening to them. In a way I don't blame them, if young men think hard-core porn is normal.
Reading this really broke my heart and I understand it so well. It's so hard to be a girl/woman these days. As soon as you're born, it's automatic sexual slavery from the start. I agree with @kerrichinchilla about how the girls are being sexualized earlier and earlier ages these days. I see little girls wear tight pants and crop tops, and their parents do NOTHING to stop that. They enable it. We are groomed from birth to be sexual play things, pretty well, and I absolutely hate it. I don't agree with transitioning, because it isn't what God has intended, but I feel for any of these girls that want to become men because they can escape from the inevitable sex slavery plastered on them since birth. It's so sad being a female in this world. And people would argue that feminism has helped, actually it's made things worse. We are sexual playthings that now have the responsibilities of both men and women; we are expected to do things men can do while still staying super slim and sexy. If anything, I have to disagree that it's harder for us to have careers cause women are always brainwashed into think they ALWAYS have to have them now.. most college/university students are women, now. So many female police officers and CEOs and such, now. All the movies/tv shows have a female in charge of something. This actually causes more pressure on us than ever before. I always say I wish to be born a man. That just proves being a woman is terrible. Sorry to anyone who thinks it's great, it's not. This is why I can't understand men who want to become trans women. They are born men and take that for granted! They won the lottery in a sense.

Let's see. I can understand why girls would trans. Take the quote above. Sexual assaults from boys and male teachers who eye up girls ( yes it happens don't deny it. Any woman can tell you there was at least one male teacher who was a prv in their school) is on the rise. No wonder girls choose to trans so they can wear trousers.

Not to mention girls are being hyper sexualised from earlier and earlier ages. Again no wonder they would take the exit route that is trans.

Not to mention girls are not taken seriously. Never have been. While boys are pushed to have careers girls are at best ignored and at worst told they aren't fit to be X career.

So yeah I get why they see trans as a way out. It's still wrong. Instead we should listen to girls as to why they don't want to wear skirts. Why they don't want to be seen as female.

The reasons for older men transing and girls are poles a part.
This is so true. Years ago I had an acquaintance at church who dressed more mannish because she had been date-raped at a Christian college. It happens everywhere. People thought she was a lesbian, but she was just scared of men, so she got obese and dressed like a man, changed her hair to look kind of like a mullet, too. I'm sure she's one of many.

Also remember a pervy teacher. He seemed nice on the surface, but had no self-control or maybe wore the wrong kind of pants. It looked like he was in a state of excitement at all times, to put it delicately. The other girls and I stayed away from him in middle school.

Hey, was gonna say real quick not to be sad to be a woman, although I've been there. I'm always a little sad to be a woman when I have to go for an annual physical, honestly, until I found the right doctor who treats me with respect and dignity. But then after hearing about what men have to go through with their prostates, it's about the same, still demeaning and degrading albeit in different ways.

And once a woman and I had the same testimony of events about mistreatment by the same man and were ignored because we were nothing but emotional women. We corroborated each other's statements and had the same general statement. The mistreatment was nothing severe, just general and specific rudeness from someone we considered a friend. Yet not being believed on a simple thing like that and being told the man's behavior was justified was extremely hurtful. That was from a church I left and am so glad I left it. Don't have time to put up with perpetually unkind people.

Sorry to ramble. I get it and have every once in awhile thought the same.

I flat out refuse to go. And when asked when i HAVE to go to the dr for prenatal care (or risk c p s involvement for no prenatal care), i lie and say i had it done w a different dr. I know lying is wrong, but i think it's justified if they put us women in this position.

And no, a female dr is not any better automatically. My worst experience has been with a female who repeatedly FORCED my legs open while telling me to "relax" even though being told to "relax" is very triggering if that's what a past abuser said.

Of course "trans men" are allowed anesthesia for these horrible exams because it would be traumatic for them to be reminded that they have female genitalia.

Feminists that claim to fight for women's "body autonomy" and "my body my choice" should consider fighting for women's rights to refuse invasive pelvic exams and not be dropped as a patient or refused birth control. And women's rights to refuse any pelvic exams during labor as well.

Regarding men and their prostrates, i read an article once that said a man was given a prostrate exam while at an ER for an unrelated thing without his consent. He was able to sue and win! Meanwhile many states still allow drs and med students to do unconsented pelvic exams on unconscious women for practice, and even in states where it is now banned, don't think it doesnt still happen.

If anyone ever meets detransitioners, especially those who are bravely going public to warn people... PLEASE give them as much encouragement and praise them for their bravery as you can!
Her story makes me very sad because I was able to breastfeed my sons until they were toddlers. (Any Mums who read that and felt bad, please don't. A relaxed mother is way more important than how you feed them! It was only possible because I was a housewife, no way could I imagine a working mum doing that! It drains you of energy physically.)

Breastfeeding creates a special bond between Mum and baby. I found it put them to sleep quickly and it helped me to be more patient with their temper tantrums. Oxytocin really does work.

I have also read detransitioners' stories about how they were NOT told of the consequences of halting physical development and possible impact on their ability to fall pregnant!

The negligence is incredible. If I was a lawyer who specialised in seeking medical compensation, I would be studying everything relevant to detransitioning cases!

Exactly. Many girls - there is no way so many girls have gender identity disorder from the start- seem to be running away from being women.

Grown men who want to become female never lose the advantages that men do have. They get some fringe benefits via being at the top of the "victim status" ladder and can suddenly become male again whenever it suits them (assuming they haven't had the chop).

Eddie Izzard is a notorious example of that. Great entry from a mum's forum, showing what real women think! https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights/4445864-Eddie-Izzard-plays-a-man-in-Close-To-You

I live in a medium sized country town and so I rarely see lesbians. Now they appear way more obvious than when we lived in Melbourne though (2005-2006).
It does make me wonder why they seek to be so mannish and have such terrible haircuts. The haircuts outdo the average man's masculine haircuts!
I have wondered if what you mention has something to do with it. I can't imagine a single man - straight or wanna-be woman - wanting to be seen with them, they are that unattractive.

It's ok to ramble, we need to do this, sometimes. I do appreciate you trying to help, that always matters. And I'm sorry you went through what you did. It is tough these days.
And it's not only the doctors not taking us seriously that can make it tough to be a woman. Also, if all we ever had to deal with was our menstrual cycles, I would be doing cartwheels lol. What makes it so hard is the ever constant pressure and standards placed on us as human beings. We have to do the work of men and women all in one and still have to be superficially beautiful..if it weren't for these things, being a woman would be a fair amount easier. This is why I find it sad that some people on here, even, call out someone who is a bit overweight or not attractive enough. This makes our lives much harder.
On trying to not being sad about being a woman, sadly this is something I've struggled with for a long time, now. I would say over a decade, and sadly nothing will change how I feel. And I'm sure many women sadly feel the same. I do appreciate the comment though, thank you :)

I never knew this of Eddie Izzard, wow. Does seem like he uses his privileges whenever he wants.

It's horrible that some men who "want" to be women will act like this. I don't even understand why they would even want to be in the first place, but I guess it's only for the beneficial reasons. It's so horrible that this happens.

I wish that we would just all be happy with what sex we were born with, and that there wasn't any pressure. What a wonderful world that would be.

You know they even make high heels for baby girls. It starts from the beginning. If I was a teen now would I pick being a trans boy over being a girl hell yes! I was regularly flirted with by older men. One assaulted me, another tried to groom me who was my father's friend. One even sent me roses on valentine's Day. He was in his 60s and I was 15. Transing would feel like an escape to me. I can see why girls and many women would so it

Honestly I'd say girls and women trans to escape being sexualise, while men who trans do it to be sexualised

I've never had a smear test. All I hear are stories of how rough and brutal it is. How women face hours of pain and are just told to suck it up.

How could they allow this kind of filth for a little girl?
After feminists began to promote woke ideology like “The Patriarchy!,” the scale changed for how stupid a lie could be. The dumbing-down of society, and the damaging lies people are willing to accept, due to drama like “The Patriarchy!” and “mah pronouns,” is sad to see.

Oh my goodness... This is absolutely horrifying! It makes me wonder why any girl would feel happy for who they are if this is being pushed on them since BIRTH pretty well. I can understand the idea of being transitioned to a male. If I didn't find out the truths in this world, I probably would of transitioned. But, unfortunately it's against nature and God, so I never did.
The heels on the little babies... I have no words. If this is happening, then it's so obvious how horrifying our world really is. And this is just one of the many things they do to humanity to destroy it. Any respecting parent would NEVER do this to their child. Dressing them in heels and slutty clothing at young age is just abuse!! Plain out abuse. These people shouldn't even have kids! I noticed alot of the time it's the moms who do this to their daughters and justify it, cause they want to live vicariously through them and glam them up. Ugh.
I'm sorry about the older men grooming you like that. I sadly attract older men, as well. They usually are at least in their fifties. This is very sad this happens much.

I get it. Have had to fire doctors (as in never go back to them, get a new one). One was rough and told me I needed to deal with trauma. I was too stunned to say "I was never traumatized; you're rough and failed to listen to me." It wasn't hours of pain but I did bleed half the day after. I wondered if I was just too soft. A friend who had given birth 3 times went to the same doctor and said that was the roughest doctor she'd ever been to. I hate that for my friend but was glad to have the validation that I wasn't crazy.

A good doctor will listen and not tell you to relax but make you feel relaxed in his/her presence. If you tell the doctor to use the smallest speculum, he/she will. When done right, you barely feel a thing. However, once you've had a bad experience, it's so hard to go back and try again. Sorry if this is TMI, just wanted to share in case it helps someone.
