Yup, i've always been saying without a doubt JHope, Jin , Suga and V probably know english and are totaly capable of holding a conversation (despite JHope pretending it was an hard work to say he likes green in that billboard interview).
I never had the impression BTS were more influenced by western music tho, i mean, look at EXO, all their songs are from americans....at least BTS always wrote their own songs.
I'm still convinced that those so called celebrities that tweeted about them were only milking BTS fandoms because look at their accounts...they all have 100notes(generous) on normal bases...they talk about BTS and BOOOOOM 145243534k notes .....can't tell me they are promoting BTS...they are trying to promote themself.
But again, if their next album is for western audience i can already feel the disappointment, i'm already reading lots of desappointment about the Beyonce producer and some people are tweeting to BTS to not accept american collaborations.
At this point we will see, for me to westernize themself it means to accept the elite agenda, and there won't be any doubts anymore.
Personally i like them less since i've read Beyonce-something-producer is involved with them.
I think they accepted the agend long ago. I don't belive in possibility to get so much success staying clean. The're just moving to become a history worldwide known band, not just asian famous group. I think this is whst some of them want.
What do you think boys gonna do whe the contract will over? Will they decide to quit bts or will the stay till their 40s together?

You think they will perform their comeback in America instead of Korea?
Also isn't it normal for kpop to have some american producers or collaboration in their staff? If i'm not mistaken most bts coreography are made by american dancers?
BTW i've already found people complaining about the producers, i've read people saying they feel like BTS will lose their idendity if they morph in that direction.
If they do i feel like they totally sold out to the elite for real so i'm done with them, i always gave them the benefit of the doubt seeing how unconfortable they were with the elite souless american celebrities but hey, if that's their direction there is nothing to be happy about.
EVERY kpop artist works with American producers. It’s not new. People always try to make a problem out of nothing. (Not you )

No they won't perform the comeback in America over Korea. After all, it's STILL a Korean comeback. But I have a feeling that either this album will be more heavily westernized than usual, or they will be releasing separate collabs with American artists that they will promote separately (I'm leaning towards this).

They've stated many times that they will always do Korean music and have no plans to release solely English music. However, nothing's written in stone but I believe that they'll never lose their cultural roots since it's what's made them popular and unique to international fans so there's no reason to not to believe them.

Everybody's saying Jungkook was abused, but what about the others? Do you think the oldest(RM and Jin) just were looking at it, knew everything and were absolutely ok with it? I mean how is it possible to be so cruel and do nothing while some old dudes torture 15 yr old? They were old enough when they joined big hit, right?
Talking about their comeback I really do belive the're going to make more material for western audience, cs it'll become worldwide for shure. Since korean intertaining industry known amoung teens and people who are into kpop, but most of people know nothing about this. And american industry influence all the world, so it's much more possibility to spread the music and agenda all over the globe.
Plus I always thought bts were more "western" product than others, I think it was planned long ago to get usa market in couple of years. I don't belive celebrities tweet about them for getting attention, they're kind of getting them audience. There's so many ppl were tweeting "WHO ARE THEY" after billboard, and they're gonna check out who's the people they're favorite celebs tweeting about. But ranfan said they just want to have sex with them, so it might be true too.(I hope it is false)

And I also have a feeling that some members know english much much better than they show. Like Jhope and JK sometimes laugh at jokes american interviewers make and then they pretend they do not understand basic phrases, thats weird. I'm pretty shure their english skills much better than they show.

About refusing to join the afterparty...well, I might be wrong but I actually belive in theory that american powerful celebrities abuse and fuck those who do not have enough power and can't refuse. Maby the boys knew that and didn't wanted to be chosen by some nasty old men.
The snoop dog (gay) posting Jk pic in his instagram is super weird.
I also don't like when fans sexualize the boys, but I don't blame them, cs this is what people behind bts want. Their agenda is to make kids sex addicted, to become supportive to gay agenda and this is what bts showing us all the time. I think you'll agree with me that boys show sex a lot, their choreography is extremely sexual sometimes, their faces expressions e.t.c so i'm not blaming 15 yr old hormones girls.
If their has been abuse happening, it wouldn't only be happening to Jungkook. Abuse is a tool used to control so everyone would be subjected to it no matter how well someone may "behave". While it may not always be physical, mental is the one that causes the most impact and damage.

Yes, many of my friends never liked them before when they first debuted because they thought they were "too American sounding". I've asked them since they're more familiar with K-Pop and other groups/artists if they thought BTS is the only one who would appeal to a western audience more than others and they've always said yes (this was around Not Today before all their recent success). That's just opinion though. I don't follow anyone else to know but the few songs I've personally listened to from others aside from BlackPink and Sunmi (whom I like) have never appealed to me.

As for them knowing more English then they let on, I believe it. Here in Canada, we're similar to Koreans in a sense that most of us can read and write in French, but we can barely hold a conversation with a native speaker. I get embarrassed and shy when I try to respond because I don't want to be judged for pronouncing a word wrong or for using incorrect grammar. I feel they're similar to this.

Has anyone heard that Stevie Wonder personally reached out to BTS with a request for them to participate in the MLK memorial campaign? Seems weird that a legend like him would even know who they are. But on the other hand, he could know how large their fanbase is so it's a smart move taking that into consideration.
I think he simply just recognized that they are one of the hugest Asian acts, and since there are several different races in the video I just think he wanted to include everyone. Black, asisn, white, etc..

well most of the members continuously say they want to stay together or even live together for a long till they are old, so they might stop singing eventually but stay, friends like they hope.

Yes the company sexualize them all the time, BST choreo is very sexual they are basically grinding the floor. The choreo for baepsae is similar they are doing hip thrusts during the entire choreo, also in their debut "no more dream" video the company FORCED jimin to show his abs, he was a minor at the time

sex sells and bighit is no different than other companies

And its really not strange they are working with american producers, in the last album they had a collaboration with the chainsmokers? Its clear they are going for a more western sound

Last album HER had all those type of songs that appeal to a western audience. I think the outro was the only song that fit with their old style
I expect this next album to follow that route, the new song "euphoria" sounds like the typical song you will hear on American radio

At the moment, I don’t think we have anything to worry about in terms of BTS westernizing themselves and letting go of their Korean roots. The members have expressed how important it is for them to stay true to being a Korean group, and that they will never let go of their roots. In every interview, they always make sure to discuss the fact that they are a KOREAN group, so I am really confident that they will not change their identity. I believe that no matter the amount of fame they achieve in America, they will always stay true to this fact. I see everything that BTS do as not wanting to become more Westernized, but wanting to merge THAT Korean culture and the fact that they are Korean artists with the Western industry. They are proud of who they are and unless down the road they change, I think they will continue to try to merge the two cultures and industries. I believe they just want to bring a change.. an eye opening.. do you guys get me?

I get you, but if fans get mad about them collaborating with Beyonce's producer what happened last year when they did a song with the chainsmokers? its basically the same situation, and it's obvious the company wants to take advantage of their popularity in the US

fans who are afraid of them having connections to US celebrities better get ready because I dont think this is going to change anytime soon. Not when their company is so happy about their popularity in the US and has been media playing about the BBmas and AMAs for ages

Well having a western producer is different than having a collab also its only like 1% of the fandom maybe even less that actually complained cause most fans are happy that they are getting a Grammy-winning producer to work with them, and its mostly American artists asking bts to collab and the only reason the fans didn't want the chainsmokers is cause they made racist jokes about Asians eating dogs *and that's why we didnt want it to happen*

They actually joked about not bringing their dogs to China, neither Korea or BTS was mentioned. It was wrong though regardless.

From my point of view, people were angry because they disliked the chain smokers. Fans on Twitter haven’t been angry over this producer that I’ve seen.
And just them using a producer from America is different from trying to change yourself into being a Western act. If they sang in English, completely changed their style and spent more time in America than English then YES.. Perhaps they would be, but they are only using Western producers. Fans should be excited to see they are working with a producer that worked with Beyonce because it means they have the best of the best, not because they’re afraid they’re letting go of their roots.

I thought the chainsmokers produced the song?
and BTS said several times they have been influenced by american artists, especially RM is recommending their songs on social media all the time and Jungkook doing covers of their songs

it's clear they admire a lot of western artists and are influenced by them wich is not a bad thing

so he gave his dog (c0al briquettes) to his parents because of their busy schedule. tbh i believe thats the truth but at first i was a little suspicious because maybe he felt not good because the name of his dog? idk maybe i’m going crazy, just wanted to share this video with you. :)

With their upcoming comeback, he’ll be very busy. I think it was a smart decision to give his dog to his parents because it’s likely he’ll be too busy and out of his house for too long.
